When someone insults you, it’s best to “turn the other cheek.”

This image fits this statement because if someone insults you or does something mean and you say something back or do the same as what they did, more than likely it's just going to cause bigger problems for you in the long run. In other words don't fight fire with fire because it just gets bigger.

Most people don’t try hard enough to see the other fellow’s problems.

This picture is a good representation of this statement because the government or the president doesn't try hard enough to see the problems that the people are facing with money. They don't necessarily care about the people. They are only worried about how they are going to get paid.

This picture fits this statement because Carrie Underwood went from nothing to having everything, fame and money just by fallowing her dreams to be a singer on American Idol. I'm sure she has put a huge amount of work into it to be where she is now but that's her dream.

Well our school has cancled school for three days because of the snow. Thankfully I live in town and not on a backroad so I didn't get snowed in my house. Everyone is saying that we are supposed to get more snow this weekend so I doubt we have school monday. I'm glad that I'm a senior and don't have to make up any of the days that got cancled.

In the begging of act two of All My Sons I think that Annie was sent there by her dad to find out stuff about Keller. Annie probably isn't really in love with Chirs. She's just doing that to get closer to him and his family. Anni and Chris won't get married. George is coming to the Kellers house too. George is a lawyer and probably had good news to tell his dad about how they can put Keller back in jail and get Steve out. That's why he took a plane to come see him in jail. Annie and George are just there to get some information to put Joe back in jail.

Night is a symbol in the book that doesn't just represent the physical darkness of night but also the darkness that Eli felt in his soul. He had said when looking in the mirror for the first time in a long time, " There only remained a shape that looked like a man. The dark flame had entered my soul and devoured it." All the evil and horrible things that surrounded him made heart feel dark. Every last night that Eli had in the camps, in the gettos, and at home with his family he has remembered and they have ment something to him.

Though out the book it shows fire as a symbol of the Germans inhumanity towards the Jews.  In the bible fire is associated with god, god seems to appear to moses as a burnign bush. The lady that had the visions of fire and no one believed her, but they all soon realized she was right after seeing the fire coming from the crematoria and seeing Nazis burning babies in a ditch. Fire was the symbol for punishment for the Jews.
